I Am Not An Opera Singer!

I talk to many people about my CD, and the kind of music that it is. For some reason, many of you are under the impression that I am an opera singer…and to that I have to reply with an emphatic…NO! I am not, nor have I ever aspired to be an opera singer. Now, that is not saying that I do not enjoy opera. On the contrary. I very much enjoy it, and have the utmost respect and admiration for my fellow artists that are opera singers or are striving to make it in the that challenging world. I am simply saying that the type of music that I sing on my CD is very far from operatic type music. If you ask my record label, it is classified under several different genres; pop, adult-contemporary, pop-classical, classical crossover, euro-pop, etc… If you ask me…it’s an extension of myself. There’s no mystery behind it really. It’s just music that moves me. I think it has elements of pop, classical, and jazz, with a splash of that nostalgic sound that is missing in today’s music.
