Hello my friends. This is the first of many blogs as I begin this journey of musical fulfillment! Actually, this is far from the beginning! I began singing when I was 8 years old…and haven’t stopped since! As I move forward, I hope to give you insight to the artist, the man, and the all-around goof ball that I am in everyday life! I hope you enjoy getting to know me on a more personal level…because I suspect this will be an eye-opening experience for me as well!
In an effort to maintain full disclosure, I admit that the process of putting this album together, and the time and effort it has taken over the past 3 years, has challenged every aspect of my life. As I stand at the threshold of this release, I look back at the roller coaster ride and realize just how worth it this entire journey has been. From the very beginnings in my basement talking through lyrical ideas with my cousin, Sal Farina, to the many hours of writing music with co-writer, Michael Pierre, there were many times that I was close to giving up. And as fleeting as those moments were, they were real nonetheless.
If I’ve learned anything through this experience, it’s that perseverance, dedication, hard work, and passion is a successful combination…That and a little bit of good wine now and then doesn’t hurt either! Until next time…
